I am a Technology and Business Development leader helping businesses scale-up in Africa. I possess a wealth of experience in;

I enjoys sales, consulting, and building relationships that add value to clients and their businesses. I keep abreast with Technology as much as possible to learn new trends. Africa is a rising star and a lot of home-brewed innovations are in the works. Watch this space. 

I am currently the Vice President Business Development Sub-Saharan Africa at Teleperformance (TP)

Education Background

I hold a BSc. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Nairobi. In addition, I hold an MSc in Mobile Telecommunication Innovation from Strathmore University. Furthermore, I am also currently pursuing an MBA.

I also attended Alibaba Business School and is part of the E-founders  Fellowship shaping the future of the digital economy. I also met Jack Ma who is China’s wealthiest man and the founder of Alibaba.

Professional Experience

I have a wealth of experience in Business spanning over 20 Years. I have worked for the United Nations, European Union and Botto Solar in the Renewable, Clean Energy and Manufacturing Sector. Additionally,  worked for Safaricom Ltd, Dimension Data, Techno Brain Group in the Telco, IT, and Digital Transformation space. In the Business Process Outsourcing and Tech space, I worked for iSON Xperiences.

In the E-commerce space, he has worked with all the Leading Platforms in the East Africa Region including Jumia, Masoko by Safaricom, and Kilimall among others. Through these experiences, he has a depth of understanding of running a corporation at scale.

Besides this, I also worked on a new e-commerce marketplace place www.bovic.co.ke which is positioned to become East Africa’s largest e-commerce marketplace.

I am passionate about sharing my experience and knowledge with other budding entrepreneurs. I am also a strong believer in Capitalism as an engine of growth for Economies.

Focus, discipline, prayer and goals are some of the recipes that Victor believes will make you successful in any venture. He is also a Mentor at Strathmore University through @IBizAFRICA.

Goals and Aspirations

Victor is inspired by the digital space that currently holds a lot of promise for the youth in Africa.

Victor loves investing his time in great bankable ideas and in his spare time, he loves doing motivational talks, seminars, mentoring, coaching, and inspiring others to reach their full potential.

Hobbies

Reading, Graphic Design, Fine Art, Web Development, Hiking, Body Building and Traveling are some of the things I enjoy. Moreover, I love interacting with people from all walks of Life.

I am well-traveled and I have visited the United Kingdom, China, South Africa, UAE, Qatar, Hong Kong, Nigeria, Ghana, Ethiopia just to mention a few.

African Youth need to rise up and grow their talents and exploit opportunities in Africa.
